Remote / Work from Home
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and experienced counsellor or psychotherapist to work with PACFA to lead the profession at a key time of development. Counselling and psychotherapy play an essential role in the mental health workforce, and this position will support PACFA’s provision of accreditation, ethical guidance and the registration of members by working with committees, developing resources and advising the CEO.
In a small team this is a hands-on role with active responsibility for coordinating the investigation of complaints, liaising with key stakeholders and members, and managing staff. The successful candidate will impress with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and a broad interest in counselling and psychotherapy practice. Importantly they will recognise the importance of maintaining positive relationships, whilst achieving results which advance PACFA’s strategic goals. We anticipate they will be outcomes focused and keen for a challenge, possibly looking to step back into a senior role after a period of parental or other leave, or simply enthusiastic to make a difference for the profession.
This position is 4 days per week but can be flexible with some ongoing working from home considered for the right candidate. The position description is available below or on the PACFA website under Work with us. PACFA membership will be highly regarded.
For a confidential discussion about the role please feel free to call Johanna de Wever on (0487) 698 218.
