About the roles

The Board of Lort Smith comprises 8 Directors each bringing a range of skills that include corporate communications, veterinary surgery and veterinary practice, healthcare, fundraising, consulting, finance and governance amongst a range of other skills and experience that create the richness of this Board.

With the impending retirement of several Directors, the Board has identified the following 3 categories as being of importance to the composition of the Board going forward:

1. Strategic communications
2. Nursing
3. Local government/Community
