About the Opportunity

PRC has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join the Raising Children Network team in either Melbourne or Sydney focusing primarily on the Raising Healthy Minds app – an initiative of the Raising Children Network. The Raising Children Network is a partnership project with PRC and Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and is funded by the Australian Government.

This part time role will work approximately 22.8 hours a week across 3-5 days (you choose the hours) and will lead the digital marketing and communications for the Raising Healthy Minds app, which aims to provide Australian parents, carers and professionals with information on social and emotional wellbeing, give them the confidence to identify the signs of social or emotional problems in children and know when to seek help.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be a champion for the Raising Healthy Minds app both within the organisation and externally and will provide advice to the project team and wider organisations on branding and positioning for the app, make strategic decisions about marketing strategies, channels and suppliers, creating digital marketing campaigns and embedding the app with stakeholders and in key channels.

More specifically, some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the design and execution of digital marketing strategies and campaigns for the Raising Healthy Minds app, with input and support from external consultancies as required
  • Provide advice to the project team on best-practice around corporate branding and positioning for the app, particularly around how to position it relative to the core brand
  • Play a key external communications role, being the champion for Raising Healthy Minds with key stakeholders including partner organisations and media and working closely with other communications team members to align with other promotional and embedding opportunities
  • Establish appropriate marketing channels as required (eg social media accounts, podcasts) and managing these, alongside the wider team, on an ongoing basis
  • Create digital marketing campaigns, working within a budget
  • Appoint and work with external suppliers as required (eg graphic designers, advertising agencies or channels)
  • Manage all processes around digital marketing and communications for the app, including the maintenance of any marketing collateral (digital or physical) and ensuring this is readily available for internal and external stakeholders, managing stakeholder logs, ensuring calendars are kept up to date
  • Coordinating our participation in events as required (eg attendance at conferences, briefings, or other meetings)

About You

To be considered for this position you will have a degree or honours qualification in a related field (e.g marketing, advertising, communication, science communication) and demonstrated experience in a similar role, including creating digital marketing strategies and leading high-profile communications campaigns.

You will have high level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with professionals from a wide range of backgrounds.

Importantly we are looking for someone who is solutions focused and can demonstrate independent judgement and initiative with the capacity to work to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Additionally, you will have strong organisational and time management skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office products with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
