We (Bridget and Clyde) live in Barangaroo with our adult son (Aaron), who has autism. He likes to live in a quiet environment, where his predictable needs and his safety are catered for.
The right person is someone capable of preparing healthy vegan food from recipes, including snacks and main meals. Your time will also be required to carry out necessary household cleaning, shopping and other related activities. It is essential that you are willing and capable of ironing, cleaning and cooking.
The successful candidate needs to be physically fit, able to take instructions and have a recent police check. They will have the ability to work 2-3 times a week, on weekends and weekdays for a minimum of 4-6 hours each day. Shifts will commence at 10am. $30-$40 p/h.
In return, you will get to work in a clean, safe and modern home environment with harbour views. You will not be required to provide any direct support for Aaron, this role is entirely focused on providing help around the home.
Lastly, given our son has an obsession with glasses, candidates should not apply if they need to wear glasses and cannot wear contact lenses. This is non-negotiable!
