Joining the legal team, you will work on a growing portfolio of impact investments and grants programs, as well as general in-house legal matters. You will liaise with external counsel, internal clients and our inspiring partner organisations to make a positive impact.
As a 2-3 PQE lawyer, you will help prepare, negotiate and deliver contracts for grants, impact investing arrangements, and professional services agreements.
This role will allow you to:
Build transferable skills in negotiation, strategic risk management, and legal problem solving
Gain expertise in emerging legal issues in IP and data, contracts and commercial law, impact investing and social enterprise incubation
Gain exposure to in-house practice more generally.
Applications from lawyers of different practice backgrounds are encouraged, whether from public interest law, commercial law, or other areas. While some familiarity with reviewing contracts will be valuable, prior knowledge of the subject matter areas is not required.
Working in a small legal team, you will have the use of precedent documents and access to guidance, and you will liaise with internal clients to understand project objectives.
