About Us

Pregnancy Counselling Link (PCL) is a non-profit community agency sponsored by Pregnancy Counselling and Education Services Inc. (PCESI). Pregnancy Counselling Link has been providing free counselling and support services since 1973 to people with concerns associated with planned, unplanned or difficult pregnancy, pregnancy loss, reproductive issues and related life transitions. PCL operates a service delivery system which is compliant with the requirements of the Human Services Quality Standards.

About the Role

PCL requires an experienced Counsellor to provide Face to Face and Telephone Counselling in both an office based and outreach model of support. This position will be a part-time, short term appointment position for up to 20 hours per week commencing 1 December 2021. The role will be required for 8 months with the possibility of extension.

The applicant will have attained tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or other Behavioural Sciences, with a major in counselling, from a recognised tertiary institution and eligibility for membership to a relevant professional body is required.

PCL is a Child Safe organisation and all employees are required to have a current Blue Card at the time of commencement of employment.

PCL's office is based at Bardon in Brisbane, with free on-site parking available.
