Your New Role

Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Advisor, your role is to coach and guide managers on day to day performance management issues. Your role would also include undertaking workplace investigations, attending meetings as required, along with preparation of documentation.

The provision of advice regarding policies, procedures and relevant legislation will also form part of the role. You will be responsible for creating HR correspondence, updating employee information in our TechnologyOne database, contributing to projects as required and generating HR and training reports.

With locations across the State you must be able to travel on a regular basis, sometimes at short notice. We are looking for someone who will bring enthusiasm and energy to the role with a great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. About You

  • Tertiary qualifications and minimum of 2 year’s work experience in a similar role;
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret industrial instruments and to provide advice;
  • Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining relationships both internally and externally;
  • Effective time management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines and commitments;
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team;
  • Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • As PCYC Bayside has an Outside School Hours Care service onsite, it is a mandatory requirement for all PCYC employees to have received the prescribed number of doses of a COVID-19 vaccine;
  • Eligibility for a QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and National Police Check;
  • Current drivers licence.
