What You Will Be Doing

This exciting grade 2 speech pathology opportunity is based within the Adult NDIS team, Community Health. The therapist will assist adult NDIS participants with developmental or acquired conditions to achieve the participant’s NDIS goals.

Scopes of practice include complex swallowing, communication and cognition assessment and intervention, prescription of alternative and augmentative communication aids and provision of capacity building interventions.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology, current certified practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia, NDIS Worker Check
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Proven analytical and report writing skills
  • Experience providing evidence-based speech pathology services in a community setting (desirable)
