The Australian Cancer Survivorship Centre (ACSC) based at Peter Mac is seeking a motivated Project Officer with a background in oncology to join our team. This is a full time, fixed term role.
The Project Officer, Survivorship will support delivery of the ‘Embed and spread cancer survivorship care across Victoria’ project, funded by the Victorian Government. The Embed and spread project consists of two overlapping projects, to increase sector capacity in survivorship care. This position will support deliverables primarily relating to project 1, including webinar delivery to select Victorian health services, survey administration and implementation support for a small number of health services to enhance their survivorship practices.
You will be required to work closely with the project lead and have capacity to travel to regional Victoria if required. You will need effective project management, communication and education skills. A proven ability to problem-solve and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team is important, as is the ability to manage timelines.
