About the Role

You will undertake habitat management works within the Nature Parks’ by implementing efficient, effective and timely weed control techniques.

The role also provides assistance with revegetation works, nursery operations, seed collection and track maintenance.

This opportunity allows the successful person to imbed process improvements, actively contribute to initiatives, progressing our Reconciliation Action Plan, as well as completing day-to-day activities.

About you

Are you passionate about environment management and weed control? Do you have an ability to assist with weed mapping and data collection and revegetation projects? We are looking for someone who:

  • Experience and understanding of weed control techniques and natural resource management.
  • Sound understanding of environmental management.
  • Well organised and have deadly communication skills.
  • Ability to work together with a team and on your own.
  • Excellent plant identification skills, particularly the ability to determine native from non-native species
