This is an exciting opportunity in a highly responsible practice management role, which has potential to grow. We need a practice manager to maintain and extend the reach of the clinical services delivered by our small charity, nationally via telehealth through The Possums Clinic Online and locally through the services offered by the Brisbane Possums Clinic www.possumsclinic.com.

About the role

This role reports to the CEO, Dr Pamela Douglas and the COO, Ms Rebecca Daniels. You will be responsible for contributing to the growth and promotions of the Brisbane Possums Clinic, in collaboration with Kindred Midwifery and Obstetrics, and for the management and growth of The Possums Clinic Online.

The Brisbane Possums Clinic

This part of the role does not include reception work but complements the role of the admin team at Kindred. You will be focussed on human resource management, and promotion and growth of the Brisbane Possums Clinic.

• Clinic promotions
• Possums Clinic website updating
• Contract provision from Possums - needs to be arranged for all Possums Clinic health professionals
• Management of booking schedules
• Management of Shared Medical Appointment payments
• Organise regular team meetings
• Strategic planning for growth and development

The Possums Clinic Online

• Clinic promotions
• Possums Clinic Online website updating
• Recruitment – growth of online clinic
• Contract provision from Possums (separate to Kindred contracts, which they’ll organise) – needs to be arranged for all Possums Clinic health professionals
• Management of booking schedules
• Fee collection and financial management
• Management of email and patient inquiries – online reception
• Assist practitioners in use of Cliniko
• Strategic planning for growth and development

About you

Essential selection criteria:

• Tertiary qualifications
• Strong initiative, drive and self-motivation
• Integrity
• Experience in working autonomously, as you will primarily be working from home
• Experience in practice management
• Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Proven information technology skills
• Resident in Brisbane
• Willingness (COVID-permitting) to travel to meet with other team members in Brisbane
