Utilise your exceptional writing abilities to develop interesting and engaging content and create media opportunities to build greater awareness and improve engagement for this exciting non-profit organisation. This is a contract role until mid-April, with the potential for extension. Your adaptability, sense of initiative, resilience and creative thinking abilities will be absolutely essential to your success in this pivotal role. This position has the flexibility to be full time, or potentially 4 days per week for the right person.
Source and create impactful content for newsletters and publications, tailored to different stakeholders
Drive content creation and delivery for all social media platforms
Produce online communications materials including video content and EDMs
Develop and pitch proactive media opportunities in consultation with program staff
Establish and maintain relationships with journalists and appropriate media channels
Contribute to the development of overall marketing, media and communications strategies in consultation with the leadership team
Prepare internal communications materials to support the organisation
Ideally you will have relevant qualifications in marketing, communications, journalism or similar
Strong writing and content creation experience across a variety of marketing channels
Genuine interest in making a difference in the lives of others through working in the for-purpose sector
Someone who is motivated, resilient, honest and has personal integrity
Strong sense of initiative, someone who can contribute new ideas and ways of thinking
