The Queensland Council for LGBTI Health

We have a unique and exciting opportunity for full or part time GPs to join our Clinic 30 multi-disciplinary health team at the Queensland Council for LGBTI Health based in Brisbane.

Our goal is to offer Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Sistergirl and Brotherboy communities easy access to clinicians for all general health services and place a high value on non-judgemental, strengths based communication between client and doctor. Clinic 30 exists because these communities often experience barriers such as stigma, discrimination and isolation which can prevent them accessing health services.

This is a great lifestyle role for a GP and offers:

  • Flexible working hours ranging from 3 to 36 hours per week
  • An established and successful RACGP accredited clinic
  • Significant patient growth opportunities
  • Training and learning and development opportunities
  • Support from in house community experts, including mental health services
  • Nursing support
  • Free on-site parking
  • An enviable location close to coffee shops, restaurants, gyms, retail and the river.

Contact us to learn more and discuss the benefits QC can offer you

Requirements:

  • FRACGP or equivalent / Vocationally Registered
  • Caring, friendly, and kind disposition
  • A passion for supporting the health and wellbeing of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Sistergirl and Brotherboy people
