ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a passionate, driven, talented and innovative individual to coordinate and deliver sector capacity building and engagement initiatives that support other not for profit organisations to provide energy efficiency advice and activities to reduce energy costs for people on low incomes including renters.

You will have:

  • Relevant qualifications in Policy and Social Research, Human Services, Economics and Commerce or similar, and demonstrated experience to fulfil the requirements of the role
  • High level demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate competing priorities and stakeholders needs, coupled with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrated understanding of issues related to energy literacy
  • High level demonstrated experience using contemporary and participatory engagement and consultation processes to engage and build positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Strong administration and ICT experience using Microsoft 365 products and CRMs (use of a Learning Management System (LMS) would be beneficial)).
  • A strong understanding and commitment to the work of QCOSS and our commitment to social justice.

In addition, the following mandatory requirement applies:

  • Work Rights: You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment to apply. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

We will offer you a flexible, exciting, rewarding full-time (38 hrs/week) fixed term position (concludes 19 December 2025) in a great place to work. Please note consideration would be given to requests to work part-time hours of 30.4 hrs/week.

All this plus a competitive remuneration package between $99,333 - $103,819 per annum (pro rata part-time) dependent on relevant qualifications and experience to fulfil the requirements of the position.

Superannuation of 12.5% and salary packaging benefits apply in addition to flexible work arrangements including working from home, flex time and time off in lieu provisions.
