This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to real world outcomes for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Q Shelter is currently recruiting an Office Administrator to join our passionate, high-performance team. The role is part-time and will work closely with another staff member and will include shared responsibility for reception activities. It will report to the Chief Operating Officer and be based at our beautiful historic Brisbane office in Spring Hill, on the CBD fringe.
This is an ongoing part-time position. Initially, the successful candidate will work 28.5 hours per week. The role job-shares reception activities with another staff member. There is an expectation the successful candidate will be flexible to occasional changes in start / finish times and extra hours, all within a standard working week: Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 5pm.
The role falls within the Social, Community, Home Care, and Disability Services Industry Award and is graded Level 2.1 - $28.41 per hour, or $42,103 per annum, exclusive of superannuation and annual leave loading. Q Shelter employees receive five weeks annual leave per year (pro rata for part time) and a paid Christmas shutdown period.
Q Shelter staff are expected to work within a culturally appropriate framework.
