The Together for Youth Collective is a remarkable collaboration of like-minded, charitable organisations who share the collective vision for improving the lives of young people in high schools across Australia.
Since mid-2020, these organisations have elected to come together through a series of discussions and workshops to discuss how a collaboration might achieve more impact together for young people, their schools and funders. From this, T4Y was born.
T4Y is currently looking for a General Manager to lead the Collective. Along with leading the members of T4Y, this role will be responsible for overseeing the initial research and development work required, managing the funding partners, and getting us ready to pilot a credible Collaboration Model. We are looking for a like-minded person to join T4Y in establishing this holistic solution to support youth wellbeing through education and into thriving futures.
You are passionate about the social and emotional wellbeing of young people and working in a role that allows you to make a difference. You constantly amaze your colleagues with your exceptional organisational skills, managing to balance competing priorities like a professional juggler - only you never drop the ball - well almost never!
With thorough experience in leadership and program management you have the ability to see impact through both a macro and micro lens. This allows you to empathetically listen and manage stakeholders with the finesse and the confidence that builds trust.
You have a strong strategic mindset with an ability to translate into action. You have experience developing and holding key stakeholder relationships to engage funding opportunities. Change management excites you and you are able to see the potential in creating real change and impact in the sector.
You have a passion and a deep understanding of the youth health and wellbeing sector, but your real skills lie in bringing complex projects alive with multiple stakeholders.
