Your new role

You'll manage our Hunter centre based in Broadmeadow and satellite services on NSW Central Coast where we deliver couple and family counselling, supervised contact visits and parenting and group educational programs focused on prevention of Domestic Violence.

You’ll lead a dedicated team including 4 Team Leaders to deliver high quality, culturally appropriate services tailored to the needs of our clients. You'll ensure your teams are engaged, productive, have clinical supervision and the opportunity to learn and grow.

You’ll establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders and ensure programs are effective and efficient and achieve programs outcomes. In addition to the hands on day to day leadership of the service, you’ll navigate your team through significant organisational change including a new CRM and clinical intake process.

The details

  • Full time based in Broadmeadow, Newcastle
  • $110k – 115k plus super plus salary packaging

About you

As an experienced Manager in Community or Human Services, you know what you are doing when it comes to leading a team to achieve program objectives, maintaining practice standards and keeping funders satisfied. You’re a dynamic leader with the ability to lead your team on a journey of change and the uncertainty that can come with change.

What else?

  • Experience leading a similar service: counselling, family relationship centre, education/group programs, DV services etc.
  • Strong management skills; service improvement and stakeholder management
  • Outstanding people leadership; proven ability to build and develop an engaged, high performing team & managing change
  • Excellent organisational skills to juggle competing priorities
  • Commitment to excellence and high quality culturally appropriate service delivery
  • Pragmatic approach to problem solving, decision making and manage balancing priorities
