What you'll do 

  • Provide practice leadership and expertise for our domestic and family violence programs with a focus on service excellence, customer experience and continuous improvement
  • Design, develop and review policies and practices to drive the implementation of quality practice for programs where there is violence or risk of harm
  • Provide advice and guidance in relation to evaluation of service provision in situations of DFV
  • Ensure that supervisors in all programs are proficient and confident to respond to heightened DFV risk in relation to cases brought to them
  • Ensure that domestic and family violence (DFV) policies and practices reflect the principles of the RANSW Family Safety Framework (FSF)
  • Drive an agenda of innovation and excellence in the practice and services provided to individuals, couples and families where there is DFV 
  • Ensure that our services and products are compliant with contracts, are best in class, meet business goals and respond to the needs of the communities we serve, now and into the future

The details:

  • Fixed Term Contract to 30/6/22
  • 3 or 4 days per week 
  • Can be based from any of our centres in Sydney - Northern Beaches, Sydney City, Macquarie Park, Parramatta, Blacktown & Penrith 
  • Flexibility to work from home at times

What you’ll bring  

  • Qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Social Science, Welfare or related discipline, ideally to post graduate level
  • Extensive expertise across a range of client services, most particularly DFV, men’s behaviour change services, groupwork and case management
  • Post graduate qualifications in practice incorporating a range of modalities and interventions
  • Supervision training and 5 years’ experience in clinical supervision
  • An ability to work across locations and work virtually including provision of training and presentation skills online
  • Proven ability to lead and influence staff and stakeholders effectively
  • Demonstrated skill in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation in the practice area
  • Experience in a broad range of practice theory, governance and practice models in family violence and relationship services
  • Understanding of the professional and legal requirements relevant to the position
  • Current valid Driver’s Licence
