What you’ll do

  • Provide support of service delivery for the Relationship Education Group Work Program and supervision of Groupworkers for Parramatta and Penrith Centres
  • Along with key stakeholders develop and enhance the delivery of a range of psychoeducational programs, both online and face to face
  • Conduct sessions using multiple mediums including face to face, telephone, video, and other mediums
  • Apply person centred, trauma informed, practice and strength-based approach to working with clients
  • Co-ordinate the face to face programs/community based online programs to allow for the best coverage of groups to meet client needs
  • Assess and refer clients to relevant services according to client identified needs
  • Maintain accurate client records
  • Work closely with other REP and Online Group Team Leaders to ensure that the range of products available for clients is consistent, responsive, and flexible
  • Support the Manager Group Programs with regard to data and compliance reporting
  • Work with the Manager Group Programs to build and maintain a team of staff in service of this program including recruitment, on-boarding and close oversight and performance management where needed
  • Implement the appropriate framework and forms as part of the Relationship Education group work program

The details

  • Work across 2 Centres - Parramatta and Penrith
  • Permanent full time role
  • Circa $97k - $100k base salary + super + salary packaging benefits
  • Flexibility to work from home at times

What you’ll bring

  • Solid experience as a group worker or educator or of supervised group work clinical practice
  • Clinical expertise in group work program areas
  • Demonstrated skills, experience and training as a clinical supervisor, giving and receiving live group work supervision
  • Experience in co-ordinating a range of face to face and online group work
  • Demonstrated competence and understanding of working within a trauma informed framework
  • Community development and project management experience
  • Strong customer service focus and communication skills
