Communications Assistant

RANZCO is a specialist medical college and not-for-profit responsible for training doctors to become ophthalmologists. We’re based across from Central Station in Surry Hills. Our small and passionate Communications Department is seeking an all-rounder who can work across the whole range of communication tasks and functions.

The role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Website editing, drafting campaigns, interpreting and reviewing analytics and proof reading.
  • Assisting with the production of the Eye2Eye member magazine through interviews, copy writing, creative writing and composing articles.
  • Assisting with social media posts, reviewing analytics and suggesting ways to improve reach and impact.
  • Contributing to the smooth running of communication administration processes.
  • Working closely with the Advocacy Department to ensure communication and messaging is clear, concise and impactful.

The team at RANZCO are friendly and welcoming. We pay above rate superannuation and offer salary sacrificing. We’re adjacent to great public transport and have (limited) onsite parking.

Currently staff are working remotely from home (supplied with suitable technology) and will do so for the foreseeable future. There will be the need to attend the office on occasion and it is envisaged that long-term there will be a hybrid office/home working arrangement.
