About the role

RANZCO has a small staff complement that “punches well above its weight” and has a three-year Strategic Plan 2021-2023, which aims to build on the College’s successes to date while clearly articulating our vision, mission and strategic priorities.

We are looking for an IT Support Analyst to join our IT department to support end-users in resolving technical incidents, requests and changes. Responsibilities include responding to technical queries and issues, resolving problems in a timely manner, and providing technical recommendations.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with exceptional customer service to perform user administrative responsibilities efficiently. To be successful in the role you will need to display excellent problem-solving skills and have a solid knowledge of IT solutions.

Essential Criteria

  • Ability to provide high quality L1 and L2 IT and Systems support to approx. 35 staff and approx. 1800 members
  • Work effectively with external service providers and partners
  • Proficiently operate a Service Desk system
  • Performing root cause analysis, developing checklists for recurring problems and developing recommendations for procedures to prevent problems
  • Results focused
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Pro‐active problem‐solving ability
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in an end-user desktop support role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and M365
  • Proficiency in Windows 10
  • Knowledge of patch management
  • Exceptional customer service skills

This role is based in Surry Hills, Sydney, conveniently located opposite Central Station. However, currently staff are working remotely from home (supplied with suitable technology) and will do so for the foreseeable future. There will be the need to attend the office on occasion and it is envisaged that long-term there will be a hybrid office/home working arrangement.
