The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (the College) is the peak body for advancing patient care and clinical excellence in clinical radiology and radiation oncology. The College is responsible for driving appropriate, high quality and safe use of medical imaging and radiation oncology through training, assessment and accreditation of radiologists and radiation oncologists, maintenance of quality and standards, and strategies to ensure the workforce is sufficient to support population needs in Australia and New Zealand.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Program Officer to join our Standards Unit, working to support our members (clinical radiologists and radiation oncologists) to adhere to professional standards, whilst balancing the individual needs of those members with national regulatory requirements for Australia and New Zealand. 

You will collaborate with the Manager, Professional Practice, and the wider Standards Unit to develop CPD requirements in line with regulatory requirements, and provide high level secretariat support to relevant committees, as well as engage with a variety of external stakeholders. 

Presenting with strong work experience gained in a role working with professional standards and quality assurance, you will be an exceptional communicator, who is adept at managing multiple levels of stakeholders, and present as a proven self-starter with a desire to deliver timely and highly accurate work as part of a collaborative team. You will be confident and capable working independently as well as within a collaborative team environment. The successful applicant will be offered a two-year contract, with a view for longer term options.
