Records Management Officer

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (the College) is the peak body for advancing patient care and clinical excellence in clinical radiology and radiation oncology. The College is responsible for driving appropriate, high quality and safe use of medical imaging and radiation oncology through training, assessment and accreditation of radiologists and radiation oncologists, maintenance of quality and standards, and strategies to ensure the workforce is sufficient to support population needs in Australia and New Zealand.

This is an excellent part time opportunity (0.6 FTE) for an experienced Records Management Officer (Archivist), to join our Standards Unit, working closely with the Unit Head and broader team, to support our members (radiologists and radiation oncologists) to ensure that the history of the College and the specialities is appropriately recorded and made accessible.

The purpose of the role is to maintain, protect and preserve appropriate records of the College’s business to ISO standards including the development and maintenance of a records management system.

You will have a passion for examining, identifying and classifying documents, specimens and artefacts, as well as evaluating and preserving records in keeping with systems and protocols.

This role would be ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail who enjoys organising restoration of artefacts, assessing authenticity of objects and documents and devising their own record-keeping systems, processes, procedures and indexes.

Ideally we would like someone with intermediate knowledge of the Ultimo Document Storage software or ability to acquire the knowledge required.

RANZCR has sophisticated work from home IT infrastructure in place to support staff to work remotely during COVID-19 and a head office based in the heart of the Sydney CBD, the College is a friendly, professional and positive working environment that fosters growth and development, as well as an excellent work life balance.

We offer RDO’s across the year as well as 2 additional days off at Christmas for our shutdown period, Quarterly Team Lunches, Additional Paid Parental Leave, EAP and Health and Wellness activities .

We encourage applicants of Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and Maori descent to apply.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a friendly and accessible team.

Recruitment agencies, we understand your interest, but we plan to fill this position ourselves.
