Who we are looking for

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional with experience in program evaluation, data analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to data integrity, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights that support RASA’s service impact and program development.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Degree (AQF level 7) in evaluation or related area, or experience in program evaluation and assessment of service impact using qualitative and quantitative methods.

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods.
  • Experience contributing to the monitoring and evaluation community programs.
  • Experience in data stewardship including safe handling of data from surveys, screening and assessment, e.g. Family DOORS, the Kessler K10 or Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ).
  • Experience in report writing, and readiness to contribute to writing.

What you will be doing  

The Service Impact Officer will support RASA to evaluate its programs, monitor key trends in data, and report on program and agency activities. The position will contribute to improvements in data collection, reporting, and hygiene across the organisation.

  • Under the direction of the Practice Manager Family DOORS and Service Impact, create program evaluations and other projects under direction as needed.
  • Undertake planned and routine data analysis for contract reporting purposes.
  • Under the direction of the Practice Manager Family DOORS and Service Impact, write and present reports demonstrating the impact on clients of RASA service activities.
  • Undertake evaluation strategies to support RASA’s program development and quality assurance.
  • Drive participation in key initiatives such as the Annual Client Snapshot Survey.
