This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrative professional to join our Open Place team and Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) in this important role with staff who have been delivering effective client focused services and outcomes for over 70 years in Victoria.
RAV is a secular, community-based, not-for-profit organisation with no religious affiliations who have been providing services to the Victorian community for over 70 years. RAV provides services from centres across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Open Place is the Support Service for Victoria’s ‘Forgotten Australians’ which was developed as a result of the Forgotten Australians Report tabled in the Senate. This service co-ordinates and provides direct assistance to address the needs and issues of people who grew up in care prior to 1990, helps people deal with the legacy of their childhood experiences and provides support to improve their health and wellbeing.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Open Place, your responsibilities include assisting with administering brokerage funds (i.e., maintaining accurate records, liaising with providers and making timely payments) and ensuring all financial transactions are approved and recorded in a transparent and accountable manner.
This role is an ongoing, part-time position located at our Open Place centre located in Richmond. The hours are 22.05 per week and can be spread across five (5) working days, is perfect opportunity for candidates looking to work school hours (Monday to Friday 10am to 3pm).

A competitive salary package is on offer to the successful candidate with a base salary range of $67k to $70k (pro-rata) per annum, superannuation and access to salary packaging.
