This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced family violence practitioner to join Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) in this important role with staff who have been delivering effective client-focused services and outcomes for over 70 years in Victoria.

About the role

Reporting to the Shepparton Centre Manager, you will work in a collaborative manner with the Family Violence (FV) team across centres and external partners to deliver high quality services across RAV’s FV programs. This includes the delivery of Men’s Behaviour Change Programs (MBCP), undertaking assessments for those seeking to enter family violence programs and risk management of participants. There may be a component of Family Safety Support in this role.

This role is based at our Shepparton centre, and is for part-time hours on a fixed-term contract until June 30, 2022. The successful candidate is required to work three (3) days per week, and may include one (1) evening shift to deliver MBC programs.

Skills, experience and qualifications

  • Qualification or relevant experience, in line with the mandatory minimum qualification requirements for specialist family violence practitioners under the Victorian Government Mandatory Minimum Qualification Policy.
  • A graduate diploma or graduate certificate qualification in men’s family violence or willingness to complete this study.
  • Experience in the provision of high-quality comprehensive risk assessments of individuals and families, where family violence is an identified risk.
  • Significant experience working with families affected by family violence
  • Ability to engage in anti-collusive practice with clients who perpetrate family violence.

A competitive sector remuneration package is on offer to the successful candidate with a base salary range of $84k to $86k (pro-rata) per annum, superannuation and access to PBI tax-free salary packaging.
