We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced program leader and clinical supervisor who is ready to take on the next challenge to join Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) in this important role with staff who have been delivering effective client focused services and outcomes for over 70 years in Victoria.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Training and Development, this is a position that will focus on continuing to develop, deliver and expand RAV’s highly regarded Specialist Course in Couple Therapy (SCCT). As the Program Leader and Clinical Supervisor, you will apply your skills and experience to lead the day to-day operational delivery matters and the supervision of sessional Trainers and Assessors. This includes planning and reviewing the course content and structure for the SCCT course, preparing and delivering lectures, seminars and assessing students (as required), as well as coordinating the internship program that is offered. In addition, the Program Leader will support the delivery of training, including customised training solutions as part of RAV’s professional development program.

Based at our Camberwell office, it’s a fantastic opportunity for an experienced program leader and clinical supervisor on a permanent contract. The role is full-time or part -time, four (4) days per week, negotiable.

Skills, experience and qualifications

  • A masters qualification in counselling, social work, psychology or related fields, or equivalent substantial relevant practice and training experience.
  • Several years of full-time equivalent couple counselling experience.
  • Substantial and successful experience in course design, delivery, assessment and evaluation in the tertiary and vocational sectors.
  • Understanding of academic and vocational educational and training requirements, regulations and standards as well as ensuring compliance in relation to training services and products.
  • Demonstrable capability to lead teams and to promote and model a high standard of professional performance.

What we offer

A competitive salary package is on offer to the successful candidate with a base salary range of $113,023 (pro-rata for part-time) per annum, superannuation, and access to salary packaging.
