This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, experienced senior family violence practitioner at our Shepparton centre to join Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) in this important role with staff who have been delivering effective client focused services and outcomes for over 70 years in Victoria.

About the role

Reporting to the Centre Manager Shepparton, you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality family violence support services and programs through an integrative and co-ordinated practice response when engaged with individuals, women or family that are affected by family violence. You will offer high quality clinical supervision and operational support for the family violence staff in the delivery of men’s family violence services.

The role is based in Shepparton and will also be required to coordinate the staff in the FV services in this area. This position is a part-time role, four (4) days per week, on an ongoing basis. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will work an evening shift on a regular basis.

Skills, experience and qualifications

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, or a related social science discipline.
  • Graduate diploma or graduate certificate qualification in men’s family violence or willingness to undertake the training.
  • 100 hours of experience facilitating men’s behaviour change (MBC) groups and completed recognised training in clinical supervision.
  • Advanced understanding of relevant legislation and practice frameworks relating to family violence practice, including but not limited to the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme (FVISS), Child Information Sharing Scheme (CISS) and the Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management Framework (MARAM).
  • Experience in the provision of family violence supervision with staff working with men, women and children and high-quality assessment of individuals and families, where family violence is an identified risk.

A competitive salary package is on offer to the successful candidate with a base salary range pro-rata of $101k to $104k per annum, superannuation and access to salary packaging.
