About the role

We are offering a permanent role of Clinical Coordinator in Busselton and Margaret River offices. The position involves coordinating a multi-disciplinary team that delivers client assessment, planning, therapeutic intervention and case management to young peoples and their families in the headspace Busselton and Margaret Satellite services, with support from the headspace Centre in Bunbury.

The current vacancy is 4 days, 30 hours per week.

Skills, experience, and qualifications

Applicants should possess a relevant degree (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, etc.), be registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) or Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and have clinical coordination experience.

  • Coordinate a multi-disciplinary team that delivers client assessment, planning, intervention and case management to young people and their families experiencing mental health challenges.
  • Provide comprehensive clinical assessment and review of clients’ needs.
  • Ensure clinical intake and review meetings occur regularly and that clinical documentation is completed appropriately.
  • Provide and coordinate a range of evidenced-based counselling and clinical interventions for youth, and for family and friends of young people, in individual and group settings for a range of mental health issues.
  • Provide professional advice and support to headspace clinicians and allied health practitioners in the delivery of specialist mental health care to young people and their families.
  • Ensure clinical staff are provided with adequate supervision, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Coordinate clinical resources and rosters in a flexible and efficient manner to effectively manage client loads and to ensure timely and responsive service delivery.
