Rocky Bay are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary teams in Mandurah.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver individualised client-centred interventions to customers across a range of environments
  • Work collaboratively to achieve clinical excellence, in an interdisciplinary team to work collaboratively towards client outcomes
  • Contribute to innovate service improvements by contributing to a newly developed niche Neuro Rehab team

  • Be involved in the development of new projects and ideas within the Neuro team

Your Case List will consist of a youth and adult portfolio of varying complexity, (including ABI, TBI, Stroke and Parkinson’s) and will provide you opportunities for ongoing clinical skill development.

Neuro Rehab Team

Working in our dedicated Neuro Rehabilitation team, you will collaborate to deliver interdisciplinary services that support people living with a disability to achieve their goals and potential. Your team leader will supervise you and in addition you shall receive clinical support from Advanced Clinicians and discipline specific experienced Allied Health Staff. You will be provided with networking opportunities and opportunities to participate in in-house and external PD including formal and informal upskilling sessions.

To be considered for this position you will be required to demonstrate:

  • Excellent customer service that meets individual goals
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Well-developed clinical reasoning skills, that are solution-focused
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with customers, key stakeholders and part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Personal resilience working in a changing environment and ability to adapt and align within this developing space that is Neuro rehab
  • Initiative to complete external and Internal professional Development
  • An understanding of neurological conditions and functional implications

Selection Criteria:

Mandatory
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy from a recognised institution
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Education Department Police Clearance (not older than 3 months)
  • Current Working with Children check

Desirable

  • Experience in  delivering therapy services under the NDIS
  • Experience in the disability sector
  • Experience in neurological rehabilitation
