Proudly serving Australians since 1928, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) provides emergency aeromedical and health services for people in rural and remote Australia. RFDS Victoria supports the work of the Flying Doctor throughout Australia and is also growing its services across the state.

Along with our extensive patient transport operations, we believe in creating opportunities so all Victorians have the ability to access essential primary health care services. Each year we come into contact with more than 80,000 patients throughout Victoria, this includes primary health care and transport by air or on the road.

About the Role

Our Fundraising and Engagement team are now accepting applications for a Fundraising Coordinator- Regular Giving, to join them on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for all regular giving acquisition and retention campaigns including the day to day coordination of a growing F2F fundraising program.

Key duties and Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Fundraising Manager to deliver a diversified and robust acquisition program
  • Developing and maintain strong relationships with service providers to ensure integrity of programs and fulfilment of contracts and service agreements
  • Develop, order and track materials that assist with acquisition and retention of supporters including welcome packs, merchandise etc.
  • Deliver tailored regular giving supporter journeys aligned with channel and type of recruitment, testing journeys and adapting for best results
  • Deliver phone based programs as part of a best practice retention strategy
  • Planning, input and year round monitoring of budgets and expenditure to achieve sustainable ROI
  • Assist with processing of regular gifts, updates, cancellations, answering Fundraising Hotline calls and general day-to-day enquiries' when required

About You and Key Selection Criteria

  • You will have a minimum 2 years’ relevant experience working in fundraising, marketing, project management or administration
  • You will have experience of either working in a not-for-profit sector or working closely with one
  • You will possess project management and organisational skills to effectively steward the regular giving program including ability to monitor and track program outcomes against KPI’s.
  • You will be goal orientated with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills and devoted customer/stakeholder/donor focus
  • You will be a team player and able to contribute towards team and organisational goals
  • You will have a strong work ethic, working with energy, initiative and commitment
