The programs are key to RFDS Victoria’s vision to bring health care services to those who are otherwise unable to access them.
The PSO takes a detailed, hands-on approach to operational coordination including travel logistics, health practitioner liaison, stakeholder relationship management and finance processing to ensure effective and timely delivery of a range of primary health care services. They have responsibility for establishing and maintaining collaborative, productive working relationships with program and community stakeholders and ensuring excellence and continuous improvement in program delivery to the communities who need them.
With direction from the Health Services Manager, the PSO will be involved in some service planning and there will be future prospects of the role developing to incorporate project and program coordination.
