Proudly serving Australians since 1928, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) provides emergency aero medical and health services for people in rural and remote Australia. In Victoria, the RFDS works in partnership with a number of community health organisations across the State to improve the health and well-being of our rural and regional communities. We believe in creating opportunities so all Victorians have the choice to access essential primary health care services.
Part-time opportunity, maximum term contract until 30/06/2022 with the possibility of extension, based in Gippsland.
RFDS are now accepting applications for a Program Support Officer to join our new Victoria CARE program, a non-clinical outreach program designed to support the mental health and wellbeing of bushfire-affected communities in East Gippsland.
The Program Support Officer is responsible for supporting operations across the Outreach CARE program, as directed by Outreach CARE Team Leader. The Program Support Officer takes a detailed, hands-on approach to operational coordination including travel logistics, team liaison, stakeholder relationship management and finance processing to ensure effective and timely delivery of a range of primary health care services.
This is a rare opportunity to work for an iconic Australian organisation that promotes a supportive and inclusive working culture. If this sounds like the role for you please provide your CV and a cover letter addressing the Key Selection Criteria above (no more than 2 pages).
Please note that due to the large volume of applications received RFDS will only be contacting those shortlisted for interviews. We reserve the right to close this ad prior to the advertised date if the right candidate is found.
RFDS is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
