About the Role

Flying Doctors Victoria are now accepting applications for a permanent part-time Work Health & Safety Coordinator within our tight-knit and expanding People & Culture Department.

With a strong focus on Employee Safety and Wellbeing, the successful applicant will develop and implement Work Health and Safety systems and risk management activities.

The WHS Coordinator will assist Management to clearly demonstrate a dedication to workplace safety, regulatory compliance and accreditation standards and support injured employees with management of the WorkCover process.

We are seeking candidates with:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a OHS Coordinator position (health industry preferred)
• Experience with ISO45001: 2018 certification
• Certification in Workplace Health and Safety (Diploma or Cert IV) or similar
• Knowledge of Victorian and NSW OH&S legislation
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain effective relationships at all levels of the organisation
• Willingness to participate in hands-on work in our facilities to further improve OHS practices.

Applicants must have full, unrestricted Australian Working rights and will be required to have a full Victorian Drivers License and provide a satisfactory police check and Victorian Working with Children Check.
