About the NERSHH Program

New England Regional Sustainable Housing and Homelessness (NERSHH) Program.

This unique program aims to ensure better outcomes by strengthening the capacity of specialist homelessness services and providing intensive service coordination for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. NERSHH provides support across the broader New England Region, with a particular interest in communities that have limited supports available to them.

The primary goal for service provision in the NERSHH program is early intervention, ensuring people are supported to address any barriers to sustaining a tenancy before homelessness occurs. Barriers may include but are not limited to issues such as mental health, drug and/or alcohol use, property care, budgeting skills, vulnerability, daily living skills, and/or domestic and family violence.

For more information on the roles and NERSHH Program, please read the Position Description and Program Description documents within the application.
