Use your supervisory skills and commercial savvy to help establish a new Supported Employment business venture in the Hunter!

The position available is:

  • Full-time closed-term (12 month contract)
  • Working Monday to Friday
  • Based in Newcastle
  • Level 4 on the Flourish Australia Enterprise Agreement (2018) equivalent to $74,000 p.a.+ 10% Super.

About the Opportunity

As the Team Coordinator, you will support the Program Manager with the establishment and running of a lawn-mowing and grounds maintenance service in the Hunter and Central Coast regions. Once established, your role will be to work in the business and direct the day-to-day running of the service. This role requires some commercial savvy and experience in the use of a range of gardening and pruning tools as well as relevant qualifications and sector experience.

You will also provide high quality direction to a team of Supervisors and Supported Employees, working with people to develop their recovery journeys, inspiring hope and facilitating the achievement of employment and recovery goals. This will be achieved through your industry experience and commitment to person led recovery-oriented practices that best supports the Supported Employees in the Community Businesses.

As the Team Coordinator, you will help market our community businesses, promoting positive community awareness of our services, seeking participation, partnership and new customer.
