The headspace team has a fantastic career development opportunity for a motivated Team Leader - Access to join our headspace Parramatta team!

The position available is full-time (76 hours per fortnight) working Monday to Friday!

About headspace

One in four young people have experienced a mental health issue in the past 12 months – a higher prevalence than all other age groups. headspace provides early intervention mental health services to young people who present with mental health issues, along with assistance in promoting young peoples’ wellbeing.

About the Opportunity

As the headspace Team Leader - Access you will work under the direction of the Clinical & Operations Manager to provide services to young people accessing the service and the Youth Access Team.

You will be a highly motivated and dynamic person who facilitates excellence in integrated holistic health care, with the goal of improving outcomes for youth utilising the service and the wider community.

Working closely and collaboratively with other members of the headspace team, the Team Leader - Access will also provide day to day supervision and mentorship to the Youth Access Team. You will oversee the clinical practice of the Youth Access team and ensure all clinical and administrative procedures are followed.

Selection Criteria

• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy or other allied health discipline recognised by the tertiary mental health services sector, and eligibility for membership/ registration with an appropriate professional body
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience in youth mental health
• A current driver’s licence
