ABOUT THE POSITION

The Fundraising Data & Analytics Lead is an integral part of the Fundraising team and is tasked with building our reporting and analysis capabilities to provide opportunities for growth of fundraising income and retention of donors and supporters.

This role also has primary responsibility for the management and integrity of data in the CRM for the Fundraising, Marketing and Advocacy business unit.

Key focus areas:

  • To track, analyse, report and inform fundraising campaigns and activities.
  • To manage the importing and updating of donor and supporter data and gift/payment records.
  • To produce data files for fundraising campaigns.
  • Ensure highest level of data integrity within the CRM for all fundraising, marketing & advocacy data.
  • To support the broader Fundraising, Marketing & Advocacy teams with reporting & analytics as required

ABOUT YOU

You have a minimum of 3 years’ practical experience with data analytics, developing insights and analysis.

You have Salesforce (or Raiser’s Edge / similar) experience, including strong knowledge and experience in data mining, modelling, segmentation, and analysis.

You have the ability to manipulate, interpret, organise and display data and then clearly translate insights and analysis into actionable recommendations for various stakeholders.

You are an Advanced Microsoft Excel user which include the skills of creating pivot tables, graphing, modelling, combining and deduplicating multiple, complex data sets.

You have the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders with varying roles and skills to optimise fundraising activities.

You are strong on time-management, organisational skills, attention to detail and problem solving skills.

You have the ability to exercise independent judgement in completing tasks, prioritising, and meeting deadlines.

You demonstrate excellent donor/customer service skills and experience, with both internal and external stakeholders.

You are professional and discrete, able to manage confidential information sensitively.

It would be great if you also have:

Understanding of databases in a fundraising context – gift records, donor classifications, communications preferences, data mining, and reporting etc.

Have an understanding of fundraising – experience with acquisition and regular giving is highly-regarded

Have a good understanding of digital data sources and metrics e.g., Web, social, search, display

Have empathy for children’s health issues

Competitive Salary $75,000 pa (read more below about salary packaging) Plus 10% Superannuation
