About the role..

We are seeking a full time Occupational Therapist to work with our multidisciplinary Allied Health Department, The successful candidate will work across our Inpatient, Day Program and Outpatient services and have outstanding interpersonal skills with strong patient focus.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessment and therapy provision for a mixed caseload of patients, including neurological, patients across the Inpatient Rehab, Day Rehab and Outpatient settings
• Case management and discharge planning for patients receiving Occupational Therapy input, including attendance at case conferences and goal setting
• Working collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary teams in all settings
• Supervision of Allied Health Assistants and university students

About you..

We seek an enthusiastic individual to join our team with a passion for maximising patient quality of life.

You will be able to clearly demonstrate the following:

• A degree Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration
• Previous experience working within private hospital or rehabilitation environment desirable
• Previous experience working with neurological disorders including stroke and Parkinson’s Disease desirable
• NDIS experience (desirable)
• Criminal record check (essential)
• Working with children’s check
• NSW Drivers license (Class C)
• Immunisation status clearance (including COVID19 Certificate or proof of medical exemption)
