The RSPCA NSW is looking for a part-time Membership Coordinator to join our team based in Sydney working 20 hours per week over 3 or 4 days. As Membership Coordinator, you will play a vital role in driving the membership program for RSPCA NSW with responsibility for ensuring that administrative tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

The Membership Coordinator is responsible and accountable for the following key functions

  • Administer the entire membership program including all membership enquiries, applications, renewals and correspondence
  • Supporting members and volunteer branches in recognising the importance of their contribution to the organisation
  • Manage the membership database and records
  • Event management; obtain venue quotes, send invitations, agendas and confirming delegates and preparing documents
  • Attend events and promotions
  • Provide high level reports to the General Manager, Community and Engagement in preparation for RSPCA NSW Board meetings
  • Manage projects and tasks
  • Assist with the strategy and direction of branches and supporter groups
  • Helping members with their enquiries
  • Prepare and send paperwork to various volunteer branch locations
  • Diary and calendar management
  • Prepare invoices for authorisation and update all financial documents
  • Maintain and update registers, manuals and state-wide lists
  • Maintain positive effective relationships with members and internal stakeholders
  • Support policies, procedures and standards for members
  • Communicate with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Proactively communicate with internal stakeholders regarding concerns, opportunities, changes and other related matters

Desired Qualifications

  • Certificate 3 in Business Administration

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in administration role, or equivalent
  • Experience in Salesforce would be highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings and conduct effective consultations with volunteers, community groups and organisations
  • An ability to deliver exceptional results, on time and within budget to meet identified program requirements

Skills

  • Strong skills in the development and implementation of processes and procedures to support RSPCA NSW objectives and customer expectation.
  • Ability to accept responsibilities and accountabilities and be focused on delivering outcomes to meet RSPCA NSW objectives
  • Demonstrated relationship management, high level interpersonal and awareness skills.
  • An ability to communicate clearly.
  • Demonstrated skill and experience in tracking and reporting within a CRM.
  • Strong project, organisational and administration skills
  • High sensitivity to reputational risk
