About the Role

We are recruiting a paid Store Manager to lead our Warrnambool Op Shop volunteer team in a permanent full-time capacity.

Reporting to the Op Shop Network Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading the current team of volunteers while overseeing the daily operations of the store to ensure its profitability, sustainability and positive presence within the local community.

What we are looking for from you

  • Previous experience in a retail role is essential, including experience in retail operations, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and regular reporting responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging work environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role.
  • Sound knowledge of volunteer management related legislation and practices will be favourable.
  • A tertiary qualification in Business (or equivalent) will be highly regarded, but not essential.
  • This position also requires a current and valid Victorian Driver’s License, a National Police Check an a valid Working With Children’s Check.
  • Covid-19; this role will require you to present a valid covid-19 double vaccination certificate.
