We have an exciting new position as a Senior Project Coordinator - SAAEH based in Adelaide. Ruah, based in WA, in partnership with The Australian Alliance to End Homelessness (AAEH) has a joint venture to support chronic homelessness in Adelaide. This is a 12 month fixed term position, working 38 hours per week based in the Adelaide Metro area.

The Australian Alliance to End Homelessness (AAEH) is an independent champion for preventing and ending homelessness in Australia and is taking on the backbone support functions for the Adelaide Zero Project (AZP) and a new South Australian Alliance to End Homelessness (SAAEH).

The AZP is a collective impact initiative seeking to end rough sleeping homelessness in the inner city of Adelaide. The SAAEH is a community of practice that will support the adoption of the Advance to Zero homelessness methodology through the AZP and other initiatives in SA.

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual who is looking to work in a values based, collaborative and dynamic environment. The person should be confident in their ability to prioritise their workload and to manage a number of activities at the same time.

The role will help lead these exciting initiatives as part of a small team, but large multi sector collaboration. Key responsibilities of this position include supporting collaboration and continuous communications, project planning and management, staging of events as well as project administration planning and oversight.

Remuneration

Level 6 of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - $92,991 (plus 10% Super) per annum depending on experience.

Who are we looking for?

It is expected that the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following.

Knowledge & Experience Criteria

  • An interest in ending homelessness.
  • A deep understanding of working collaboratively, systems thinking and the collective impact approach.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication, including the provision of clear, concise, action focused information in an appropriate format.
  • Demonstrated general research skills utilising a variety of reliable sources.
  • Experience in coordinating events in a busy, results driven and continuously improving environment, including budgeting processes and financial reporting.
  • Strong organisational skills to use initiative, coordinate concurrent projects, provide timely reporting, and manage competing demands, on time and budget.
  • Experience in business development
  • Demonstrated competency in the use of various collaborative software, applications and databases – including Microsoft Office, Google Suite as well as various stakeholder and project management software.

Qualification/s

  • Degree qualification and/or relevant experience.
