Strong Minds Psychology provides psychological assessment and intervention services to the Yarra Valley and Outer East suburbs of Melbourne, as well as West Gippsland. A values-based practice with values of Community, Strengths Focus, Sharing Knowledge, and Sustainability.

About the role

  • Provide support across the lifespan, from 2 years of age through to older adults to promote cognitive, social and psychological well-being.
  • Providing Psychological intervention (individual and group) across a range of theoretical models and approaches (general counselling, CBT, ACT, person-centred)
  • Psychological assessments and reporting including cognitive (WPPSI-IV, WISC-V, WAIS-IV), educational (WIAT-III, PEP-3), and adaptive/behavioural (Vineland-3, ABAS, Conners3) with a wide variety of client demographics including disability, mental health, domestic violence

Skills and experience

  • Master Degree or equivalent
  • AHPRA registration and APS membership
  • Indemnity Insurance, Medicare Provider number,
  • Minimum 2 years experience in related industry, Minimum 7 years experience in related industry for senior role
  • Ability to thrive in an energetic and diverse work environment
  • Strong crisis assessment and crisis management skills
  • Skills in technical writing related to client records and reports
