Rural Workforce Agency Victoria is seeking expressions of interest from speech pathologists who are interested in providing outreach services within rural, regional and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

RWAV administers Outreach Commonwealth funded programs, proudly supporting Victorian rural, regional and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to enable access to priority health care.

The Outreach programs provide funding to cover out of pocket expenses to support speech pathologists relating to travel and associated costs of providing these vital health care services.

  • Campaspe - Shepparton - Moira
  • Geelong - Queenscliff
  • Gippsland
  • Latrobe
  • Macedon Ranges - Moorabool
  • Mildura
  • South Gippsland - Bass Coast
  • South-West Central Victoria
  • Southern Grampians - Glenelg
  • Swan Hill
  • Upper Goulburn Valley
  • Wallan - Seymour
  • Warrnambool
  • Wimmera
  • Wodonga

Key Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in speech pathology
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Eligibility for membership of SPA (will need to obtain Medicare provider number)
  • Have completed or willing to complete cultural safety and awareness training.
