About the role!

This is a brand new exciting role that will lead and coordinate the implementation of the Lived Experience Engagement Strategy. It supports a sustainable Peer workforce and ensures the voice of service users is heard at all levels of the organisation.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Provide Mental Health Lived Experience Leadership across the organisation.
  • Support the embedding of contemporary person led, values-based, trauma informed, Recovery Focused Practice, in all of our client facing roles.
  • Provide contemporary, high-quality support of the Peer workforce, including individual and group development and continuous improvement as required.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of strategies to ensure the organisation is well placed to meaningfully engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Strategic Leadership (SLT) team in achieving relevant strategic goals.

This role is part time (45 hours a fortnight) and based in Cannington.

About you!

To be considered for the role, you will have the following;

  • Tertiary/University qualification in relevant human services discipline.
  • Lived experience of mental health recovery.
  • Passion for and alignment with Richmond Fellowship’s vision, purpose and values.
  • Advanced interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively work with all stakeholders, to influence and encourage practice development.
  • An active listener and critical thinker who leads and inspire others
  • Demonstrated experience and capability to provide stakeholder engagement and high-level group facilitation, training and education.
  • Current Police Clearance.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Current Drivers Licence.

In line with Richmond Wellbeing policy, WA Government Health Directions and Public Health Orders, Richmond Wellbeing workers and contractors are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by 1 January 2022 and receive their booster shots when required. As such, the successful candidate will need to provide evidence of their COVID-19 vaccination status prior to a face-to-face interview.
