Passionate, creative and love communications? Are you highly skilled in digital communications? Want to help us lead community change and make a difference in people’s lives?
The South Australian Council of Social Service is advocating, collaborating, leading and mobilising to promote wellbeing and to eliminate poverty, inequality and injustice in SA.
We are looking for someone with great skills in creating exceptional visual content for online and print, as well as strong written communication skills.
You’ll be helping SACOSS to connect and engage, lead public debate on social policy issues, and support the community services and health sectors.
The SACOSS Digital Communications & Engagement Officer assists the Communications Coordinator with internal and external communications output to ensure SACOSS has a consistent voice to engage a wide audience and lead to social change. This includes assisting with all communications channels and tasks, including producing digital content and managing our social media presence.
Working under direction from the Communications Coordinator, and liaising with the rest of the SACOSS team, the Digital Communications & Engagement Officer applies digital skills and knowledge in the production of a variety of SACOSS communications.
We are looking for someone with experience managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment within a small team.
The position is initially offered as a six-month contract at 4 days per week (or equivalent hours), however there is an ongoing position after that.
