Since opening our doors in 1982 to share a meal with the most vulnerable members of the community, we have evolved into an independent non-profit organisation renowned for effectively helping thousands of people experiencing homelessness to rebuild their lives. At the heart of everything we do, we recognise everybody is unique. No matter where people are in their journey, we are here to support them and we do not give up.
Every day of the year, Sacred Heart Mission (SHM) assist hundreds of people who are experiencing homelessness or living in poverty to find shelter, food, care and support. We are in this for the long haul - we are committed to making a sustainable difference in people’s lives. Everyone is welcome at our table.
Working within the Quality and Projects team, you will work on projects across the organisation. You will have the ability to work on projects as a project lead or support projects as a team member. You will be effective in autonomous and team roles.
You will be involved in projects relating to quality improvement, client engagement and diversity and inclusion. You will also oversee management of SHM’s Reconciliation Action Plan.
This is a Full-time fixed term role until June 2024 initially, with the potential to extend.
You will work in a fast paced and changing environment. A key part of your role will involve working in conjunction with the Manager, Quality and Projects on project and change management plans.
You will also effectively manage change and develop systems to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of key projects across the organisation.
Your day will involve collaborating with internal and external stakeholders depending on the nature of the project. You will drive best practice in diversity and inclusion.
