Cystic Fibrosis Community Care (CFCC) is a cause based not for profit organisation supporting people living with cystic fibrosis. The organisation has recently grown through a merger and an ambitious, committed and cohesive Board is keen to expand on the approximately 1000 members currently receiving services.

The organisation’s key activities are:

• Provision of programs and services to members
• Research into cystic fibrosis and its management
• National unity and collaboration on cystic fibrosis related issues across Australia
• Public awareness and communication
• Information, education and advocacy
• Fundraising
• Governance and transparency.

This is a multifaceted role touching on all of the activity areas mentioned above. Working closely with the Board you will contribute to strategy and its achievement, lead a cohesive and growing team of employees and volunteers, and participate in a broad and dynamic stakeholder environment.

You may be a current Chief Executive or a senior executive seeking to step into your first CEO role. You have a strong understanding of the not-for-profit sector and the dynamics which contribute to success in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. You may have a background in health management but this is not essential. You certainly are a cause based leader with a strong community orientation and a capacity to generate alignment around meaningful objectives. You have a strong grasp of governance and professional management as well as excellent people skills.
