At Figtree Early Learning Centre we are committed to supporting the education of all children within our fully inclusive Early Learning Centre. The indoor and outdoor spaces have been designed to inspire children to develop to their greatest potential and we are seeking a Special Education Teacher who are is able to facilitate the inclusion of all children within this environment.

The successful candidate will have:

• A NESA registration and qualifications that are recognised in the field of Early Childhood Education and Care
• Special Education qualifications, however, training will be provided to a motivated candidate
• Experience supporting the inclusion of children on the autism spectrum or with other intellectual disabilities

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and motivating a team of educators to support the inclusion of children
• Developing meaningful partnerships with families and other health professionals
• Guiding the professional development and performance of team members
• Ensuring an inclusive, supportive and educational environment for all children
• Assisting to ensure the high quality of the service in consideration to the NQS
• Excellent knowledge of the EYLF
