They are changing the status quo and in their short existence have grown from one person to a multi-disciplinary team of 20 across South East Queensland. This role is aimed at helping and ensuring that there is ongoing support for their team in the Brisbane region.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a great opportunity available for an upcoming Occupational Therapist that must have a minimum of 2-3 years clinical experience. This role is also suitable for someone wanting to take a sideways step and be a part of a culture that is truly making a difference in the disability sector.

  • This role will have an extensive focus on professional development and career mapping.
  • We would like you to be well versed in completing functional assessments and tailoring best practice interventions.
  • You will be proficient in the use of psychometric screening tools such as PEDI-CAT, Vineland – 3, WHODAS etc...
  • We are looking for a highly motivated OT that thrives on working independently and has the drive to help and grow a team.
  • You must have a good level of commercial acumen and understand the key drivers behind referral trends including understanding the ethos behind what good customer service is.
  • You will be a leader in your field when it comes to providing a client centric and evidence-based service
  • You will either have experience leading people or have the interpersonal skills to be able to
  • You will have an opportunity to provide input into the broader structure of the business given this will be a key appointment.
  • You will be able to assist with building on the training resources that already exist within the business.
  • You will be one of the founding members of the business and with that, you will be provided with an opportunity as the business grows, whether this be financial, allowances for professional development, or something else that you wish to propose. REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
  • NDIS experience and understanding is highly preferable however as long as you have clinical experience this is key
  • Proven (or emerging) supervision skills
  • A passion for assisting clients to reach their full potential
  • Proven ability to establish meaningful relationships with a variety of stakeholders and be able to demonstrate and validate repeat referral sources.
  • A high level of written and verbal communication skills, particularly in advocacy, mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Current driver's license and registered vehicle
  • AHPRA Registration
  • NDIS Worker Check
  • Other qualifications specific to disability will be highly regarded
